Plus and Premier Beverage Packages are valid only for guests who are of legal drinking age. When sailing from North America, the legal drinking age on Princess Cruises is 21. However, when sailing from Japan the legal drinking age is 20 and when sailing from the United Kingdom, Europe, other ports in Asia, South America, Australia and New Zealand, the legal drinking age is 18. Guests under 21/20/18 (as applicable) will receive the Zero-Alcohol Drink Package in lieu of the Plus or Premier Beverage Package (as applicable) and will not receive any refund for the difference in beverage packages. On sailings that begin in ports in the States of California, Massachusetts, New York, Texas, Virginia and Washington, the alcoholic beverages portion of a package will not take effect until the ship on which the guest is sailing is in international waters, as determined by Princess Cruises, and therefore any alcoholic beverages purchased by a guest before a ship is in international waters will be charged to a guest’s onboard account; no discounts will be provided to the Package price or refunds as a result of this. Any bottle of wine, one-liter bottles of water or canned soda purchased on board with either Package will receive a 25% discount on the standard onboard price. Packages do not include mini bar items, beverages offered via self-service or vending machines, tobacco, food items or souvenir glassware. Bar Service Charges are included in each Package for qualifying beverages included in the Packages. Service of alcohol is always subject to Princess Cruises’ internal Responsible Service of Alcohol Policy and no refunds will be provided where alcohol is restricted under such policy.
