Student groups under 21 years of age and spring breakers (either groups or individuals, regardless of age) are not allowed at any RIU property, at any time during the year. RIU Hotels and Resorts will allow "Supervised Family Student Groups," as an exception to its RIU Student/Spring Breaker Group Policy, always on an on-request basis and only if they fit the following criteria: students are traveling in the company of a parent or legal guardian; each room booked has at least one responsible parent or guardian sharing with their underage children (18 or younger) up to the maximum occupants permitted in the specific room category; parent or guardian must be willing to sign a responsibility agreement. A 3-night minimum stay is required.
